Council Capital Announces Sale of Advanced Care Partners to Angels of Care

Nashville, Tenn. – April 28, 2026 – Council Capital (“Council”), a Nashville-based private equity firm focused on investing in lower middle market healthcare businesses, today announced the sale of its portfolio company, Advanced Care Partners (“ACP” or the “Company”), to Angels of Care,  a leading national provider of home health services for medically complex children and young adults. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Council invested in ACP, recognizing the pediatric private duty nursing market as a high-quality, lower-cost alternative to the expensive hospital care often experienced by children and young adults with medical complexity. The sector’s strong macro tailwinds and fragmentation created a compelling opportunity to build a differentiated, scalable platform centered on clinical excellence.

During Council’s ownership, ACP achieved significant growth in both revenue and EBITDA. This performance was driven by strong organic growth in its core Georgia market coupled with geographic expansion into Florida.

“ACP exemplifies Council’s commitment to improving healthcare, in this case by keeping medically fragile, vulnerable children and young adults stable and thriving in the lowest cost, highest quality care settings” said Grant Jackson, Managing Partner at Council Capital. “It also served as a testament to the power of the Council model, with the board services of Chairman Jason Owen, and board members and CEO Council Members Rich Hallworth, Darin Gordon, and Mary Evans, along with the company’s founder, Greice Murphy, in addition to significant contributions from the Council Value Creation Team.”

“Serving as ACP’s CEO not only gave me the privilege of meeting the critical needs of an under-resourced population, but also the opportunity to work closely with a world class Board of Directors along with a committed and passionate team” said Frank Blair, Former Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Care Partners. “I am incredibly proud of what we’ve built and am excited for ACP to join Angels of Care, a partner who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and is well positioned to support continued growth and impact for the patients and families we serve.”

Edgemont Partners served as exclusive financial advisor to ACP. DLA Piper served as legal advisor to Council Capital and ACP.  McDermott Will & Schulte served as legal advisor to Angels of Care.
